Meet The Team

  • Stephanie Reid (Swim England Level 2 Swimming Instructor)

Hi! I have been teaching swimming to children and adults for just over 18 years and feel incredibly fortunate to have a vocation that is so rewarding and enjoyable. I qualified as an NNEB Nanny in 1999 and whilst looking after the children and taking them to their swimming lessons I discovered a passion for swimming teaching that is still going strong! Like most swimming teachers I love swimming and being in the water, however I can entirely appreciate that this is not the case for everyone; perhaps due to a frightening episode in the water, swimming lessons that didn’t quite work out or just simply never having learnt to swim; whatever the reason, young or old I will endeavour to help. It goes without saying that swimming is a lifesaving skill but there are many wonderful benefits to swimming (not to mention that it’s great fun!). I would be delighted to have the opportunity to teach either you or your children the joy of swimming and the confidence to have fun in the water.
  • Kelly Peart (Swim England Level 2 Swimming Instructor)

My love of swimming started from a young age when I started competitive swimming, where I went on to captain my club and compete at a high level, so naturally it felt right to go onto to teach and pass on my skills and knowledge to others. I have now been teaching for over 18 years. Alongside teaching I help run a family Pre-School, where I love working with children. With both my swimming knowledge and childcare experience, I feel this helps me to get the best out of the children. I am passionate about swimming and feel it is such an important lifesaving skill and I am privileged to be able to teach this to children.
  • Lisa Berry (Swim England Level 2 Swimming Instructor)

A change is as good as a rest they say! There’s nothing better than the reward of giving others a skill which will bring such varied benefits throughout life. I have been a swimmer for many years and whilst taking a career break from airline operations I decided to investigate the art of the possible and completed my level 1 teaching a year ago and haven’t looked back. Such a joy to help children of all abilities succeed and have fun.
